To select an organization you must favorite them first and then they will be available as a selection in the drop down. The percentage (%) of the shopshare is determined by GivCounts . It's easy - you shop - we get a commission -- we give the displayed % on qualifying purchased to the organization that you selected. You just increased your impact.

Yes, we screen organizations based against federal and local government listings and do not allow organizations who have been revoked from these lists to join GivCounts. We encourage you to cross-reference charities on Charity Navigator, GuideStar, or another platform that ranks charities based on their transparency and efficiency with fundraising and the use of those funds.

Every organization or cause that you give to that is marked with 'Tax Benefit' in the application will qualify for a tax deduction. These organizations are 501c3 charities registered with the IRS. We will send a yearly giving report to the email address on file. You can request a report at anytime using a support ticket.

The You Give - We Give Promotion is offered by GivCounts to help organizations raise funds for deserving causes. For every recurring gift (at least a 12 month commitment) that is set up by any user - GivCounts will give you matching points in the application that can be redeemed for gift cards. Please note, if you cancel your recurring gift before the completion of 12 months - your account will be charged the promotional amount plus the transaction fees.
